I hate the flash on my DSLR. The lighting is much too harsh. This is a clever way to cobble together a flash diffuser from an old 35mm film canister :-)

Incredible! I've got to make myself one of these! But... where to find an old film container like that? These days they're all black and opaque.
I've also used a kleenex once or twice, if you can hold it in place without too many creases in the light path (mind you, a LOT of creases can be creative too).
