Add new functions to Canon’s Digital Cameras

OK -- Let me start by saying that I've not tried this... though it seems simple enough to back out of the change. There is an alternate firmware for many Canon digital cameras that allow for extra features like faster shutter speeds, longer exposures and RAW support etc... Might be good for those of you that want to squeeze more juice out of your digital cams :-)!

After the warranty was up, I hacked the firmware on my Canon D300, and it opened up some features available on a higher-up model, the D30 or D20. A few of the nice things include reconfiguring some of the buttons for fast access to features, as well as access to the ISO 3200 "film" speed. But there's a lot more as well, that I've now begun to take for granted.
