The Beta of Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon) has been released! As some of you may know, I've turfed Vista in favor of Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn) and haven't really looked back. I will wait for the final release of 7.10 before upgrading (ETA end of Oct) but I will probably take the plunge ON release date. I am so impressed at what they've managed to accomplish with this distribution... I've been installing various flavors of GNU/Linux for years now and this is simply the most 'friendly' and usable of the bunch in my opinion.
