WOW. Microsoft Offers $44.6 Billion To Acquire Yahoo

There have been numerous articles on this bid from Microsoft to acquire Yahoo... I just liked the graphic best on this one :-)



It will be interesting to see how Google reacts to this. Part of me feels this will actually benefit Google since these big mergers are typically plagued with all sorts of integration issues... Given Google is the clear leader in search and web-based advertising -- this is the perfect opportunity for Google to pull further ahead of the combined #2 and 3 players in the space...

I think they should have a commemorative 105th badge that you get by earning all 104... would be a good gesture -- anyone can get any singular badge but it would be a rare event indeed to get the 105th...
